Reducing pet homelessness in our communities.

No pet should be homeless. Petland Charities supports communities in caring for pets and reducing the risk of pet homelessness. Petland invests in several programs to mitigate that risk and to protect all pets.

Local shelter donations:

Shelters provide invaluable work to care for abandoned or unwanted pets. Petland Charities supports these shelters by providing food, supplies and monetary donations. Through our Round Up at the Register program, we also invite customers to donate funds that help in these efforts.

For the past few years, Petland Charities has provided its support to A Dog’s Dream, a non-profit organization, located in Neosho, MO that works to train retired breeder dogs adapt to household living, while matching the pets with their forever families.

Circumstances sometimes arise when a pet owner cannot keep their pet. Petland Pet Counselors assist consumers in finding a new home for their pets through flyers, word of mouth, and puppy placements in high visibility kennel windows.
