Petland Ashland Team Collects For Local Animal Rescue

At Petland Ashland, pet counselors came together to support a meaningful cause—collecting food and supplies for Misfits Paws Animal Rescue.

They set up a display filled with dog food, treats, toys, and cleaning supplies. Customers joined in, adding donations and learning more about the rescue’s mission. The store quickly filled with a sense of community and kindness.

This effort was made possible by Petland Ashland, whose team organized the collection and provided store donations. Petland and Petland Charities have supported Misfits Paws for many years, and their continued help makes a big difference.

As General Manager Tressa Pine shared, “Misfits Paws Rescue holds a special place in my heart because Missy, the co-founder, is someone who worked for me at Petland and has become a close friend over the years. So, it’s just really special to support them with my store.”
