Petland Charities proudly supported American Humane Society’s heroic efforts to rescue, care for, and protect animals displaced early 2025 Los Angeles area wildfires. To assist American Humane Society’s work, Petland Charities donated $6,000, which was boosted to a $12,000 donation through the organization’s “dollar-for-dollar matching” program.
For nearly every home destroyed by the wildfires, there was likely a family pet also affected. Petland Charities’ mission includes ending pet homelessness and creating special bonds between animals and people, and American Humane Society did this work daily during the crisis.
American Humane Society, a non-profit organization worked to support animal search and rescue efforts and left nourishment and water in areas where pets were unable to evacuate. With the help of volunteers, partners, and donors, American Humane Society transported more than 300 long-term shelter animals to safety.
